Question:

2 questions - cajun chicken & lamb shanks......................

1st Q: made cajun chicken last night with fresh chicken, stored in the fridge. Can I reheat in the microwave & if so how long?

2nd Q: froze a raw lamb shank last week, took out of the freezer today, want to use it in the slow cooker with gravy & carrots etc & cook on low until about 8pm Tommorrow night.
The lamb shank is still quite frozen is it ok to put it in the slower cooker with other ingredients now?

Thank you !

Answers:
My brother is a chef.He says the chicken can be re heated in the microwave but only once.put on full heat for 2 mins and check, make sure the centre is red hot.If not repeat the process.
The lamb can be cooked from frozen that way if its going to be eaten tommorow night.thats plenty of cooking time.just double check there is no frozen pieces.it will be fine.

lamb shanks - this will be ok i done one in a roasting bag for approx 8 hours in a low oven and it came out perfect
