Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie.?!

Question:

Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie.?

I am making this for supper tonight thanks to answers given to me earlier. This question is for people that HAVE had it before.
Instead of using shredded cheese do you think it would be better/orthe same as using campbells cheddar cheese soup to make it a little creamier? And has anyone ever added noodles or rice to this dish? I was thinking egg noodles, or should I try it without first?

Answers:
Try without first, the original is the best. Hmm.. the creamy shiz sounds good. The regular is kind of dry.

Never added noodles or rice. Sounds good though. =]

Yes, use your imagination! About anything goes with this recipe and it's really good.

You can have buttered noodles on the side, the bisquick would be enough for your starch option, though. The cheese soup may make it a little "soupy", I would stick to the shredded. :o)

I am not for sure what the recipe calls for,
but I like to experiment alot too. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I don't know about the noodles though. Noodles may be the wrong type of texture to add to a bread-type dish...just too much going on at once I think. I'm not sure about the cheddar cheese soup either, but the noodles I'd say no.

Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie:

This is ridiculously easy and my kids love it. You can add other spices, or even tomatoes. You can also change the cheese to make it your own. I've varied it depending on what I am in the mood for and what I have on hand. I always use ground turkey; the original recipe called for ground beef.

35 min 10 min prep
4 servings

1 lb ground turkey
1 cup onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup Bisquick (or jiffy)
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1. Heat over to 400 degrees and grease a 9" pie plate.
2. Cook turkey and onion til turkey is browned, drain well.
3. Spread in pie plate.
4. Sprinkle with cheese.
5. Stir remaining ingredients til blended and pour into pie plate.
6. Bake for 25 minutes.
