How long does dethawed chicken stay fresh?!

Question:

How long does dethawed chicken stay fresh?

If chicken was dethawed in a sealed bag in the refrigerator. How long will it stay fresh to cook and eat?

Answers:
When you say dethawed, do you mean defrosted or just thawed? If you mean thawed, you should cook it within 48 hours. If you mean dethawed as a trick question, meaning frozen, it can last up to a year in the freezer or longer depending on how it is wrapped. Nonetheless, when it is thawed, you should cook it within 48 hours.

I'll say about 1 to 2 days.

meatrs once thawed continue to decomp at their origional rate ,if the meat was purchase before the sell by date and frozen same day you can keep them up to two days in hot weater meats sufer aditional decomp during transport limiting freshness in wich case use them with in 24 hours. if frozen next day 24 hours
