Is chicken good for you?!

Question:

Is chicken good for you?

Answers:
Chicken is very good for you! Lots of protein, but you cant really have it fried or with lots of gravy and sauces all over it, not all the time anyway. It should be baked, grilled or broiled. You should really take the skin off because that is what is so full of fat. White meat is healthier than dark meat and less fatty too.

the only meet that is "good" for you is fish. meat is so freaking gross. i don't know how people eat it.

It has a source of protein and tastes good, but that's all I know about it. :)

YES. AND IT'S SAID THAT WHITE MEAT IS BETTER THAN RED. [ I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT BOTH AND ALL TYPE OF SEA FOOD , WHICH IS IN THE WHITE MEAT GROUP ] . BUT CHICKEN MAY BE TERRIBLE , IF YOU HAVE SOME TYPE OF ALLERGY OR THE CHICKEN HAS THE BIRD FLU . TAKE CARE.

Yes is is good for you! I'm trainer and chicken is a really good source of portein and vitamin A. Just don't eat it fried lol....

Take off the skin and don't fry it and it is good for you.

Yes, chicken is good for you.. It is high in protein and less fat than most meats.. as long as you remember to peel the skin off before cooking you will be cooking healthy.. Good luck and God bless...

Chicken is both good for you (better than red meat) and versatile in the kitchen. Make sue it's well cooked and you clean up the kitchen work area well after cutting it up.
I'm going to do my best not to eat the skin anymore....

yes..with skin off..done on the bbq

Generally it is very good for you. You just need to be careful not to use too much oil - deep frying is not so good. To make it lean remove the skin - to me that is sacrelige - I love a good brown skin - as most of the fat comes from just below the surface of the skin. Ah well, it does need a little fat when skinned and is healthiest when grilled, baked, poached. Yes, it is good for you and next to pork it is my favourite meat.
