Balsamic vinegar shelf life?!

Question:

Balsamic vinegar shelf life?

does vinegar have to be used by a certain date before or after it is opened

Answers:
BALSAMIC VINEGAR HAS A LONG LIFE SHELF, JUST AS LONG IT IS NOT NEAR THE HEAT. STORE IN CUPBOARD AWAY FROM HEAT . THE HEAT MAKES THE VINEGAR RANCID AND THEN IT'S GARBAGE. THE LONGER THE SHELF LIFE, THE BETTER THE FLAVOR.

no, if you think about it, that why pickeling things make them last for so long

It really doesn't have a shelf life. It's rare but some can spoil. If it develops an "off" smell or appearance, it's best to toss it. You will be able to tell.

Balsamic never expires. It is like wine.It tastes better through the years. And as the name implies, balsamic vinegar took many years of aging before marketing.

It actually can go bad, but it takes forever. It develops a sort of pudding like growth. The website I checked says that unopened, regular vinegar lasts 24 months. When opened it lasts for 12. I've had vinegar keep much longer than that.

A bottle of it never lasts very long at home. I've never had any balsamic vinegar go bad.

No
Thank's
