I leave out the onion because I'm allergic, but I put it back in for you. Yummy!
Eggs, and boiled rice, mixed
Get some eggs and rice and fry them together.... in a pan
why would you want to? its only a quid at the chinky and you get to eat those free prawn crackers they put on the counter while you're in there! bonus!
First, scramble some eggs. Then heat some oil in a skillet and add some steamed rice and some finely chopped veggies to the mix, along with the previously scrambled eggs. You can toss in a few splashes of soy sauce if you like.
when they make it at benny hanna (totally do not know how to spell that) they take rice, scrambled egg, carrot, peas, and onions mix it all up and fry it. looks easy enough
Buy a chicken, get it to lay eggs, and grow rice in your back yard. Enjoy!
Make a good quantity of rice. In wok scramble an egg in pork/chicken fat, seasame or plain oil till cooked, season then add and fry the rice. You can crumble in a chicken stock cube for more flavour, and add dash of curry powder for spice.
boil some rice, stir fry with some soy sauce, while this cooking add a chopped omelette and stir.this works for me and is quick
I personally................boil some rice, drain it very well............use a wok, use a little oil - heat it until its smoking, add garlic, finely chopped onion, add rice, then add 1/2 beaten eggs, toss about in wok until nicely brown............................ to your liking.
Already got some good ideas there, but one tip, it's best to let the rice go cold between boiling and stir-frying.

This is the Chinese style of cooking fried rice. Use cooked overnight cold rice - you can season it with salt, sugar, pepper, oyster sauce before cooking. First fry lightly beaten eggs, breaking them into small pieces as you fry, and remove. Then fry some chopped garlic and onions with some cooking oil until fragrant, toss in meat/prawn (prawns are more yummy!), add seasoning to taste and sautee until cooked. Add in some pre-boiled mixed vegetables and cold rice and mix evenly. Lastly, add in the eggs cooked earlier.. and voila! you have a simple and fast meal!! For kicks, have the fried rice with chopped chillies and soya sauce...

5. Sprinkle on the cashew nuts and cook a further 2 minutes, until the vegetables are just tender.
well there is a coincidence, i made this tonight for the first time!
I made rice, boiled it, got some peas out of the freezer, and put them in with the rice towards the end of cooking time.
Put in sieve/ colander on top of pan to drain.
Got my wok (you could use frying pan) and cracked an egg in a bowl and mixed it up, and added to wok which i put a bit of olive oil (lowish heat) kept stirring till egg nearly ready, and then added drained rice and stirred/chopped into egg so rice was spread throughout pan. Didnt fry as such with lots oil but it was nice enough. added a pinch pepper and Added a bit of soy sauce to taste.
Also you could always make egg seperately in another pan and add when cooked but its only more washing up! Make sure wok pan isnt too hot so egg it all sticks. I used 2 eggs and quite a bit of rice, handful of peas but i guess it depends how much you like egg, peas!
mmm lovely!
Egg fried rice the way it is made at a take away is cooked rice. Best to cook either the day before of in the morning. It needs to be cold otherwise when you cook it it will turn to mush and burn. Separate the rice when it has called. Get 1 egg beat it and fry it quickly in your wok then add the rice and heat through. At the takeaway the add salt and MSG. If you don't have MSG just add a little rice. You can add a little water if it is to dry. But ONLY a tiny amount. Just keep tasting it as your cooking. To the person who said go to the chinky!! Chinky is a racist word and I suggest you don't say it to a Chinese person. From Stacey Chan
Its just eggs and rice fried in the pan!!
Heres a good recipe but you can take out some ingredients to suit your taste buds!!
For the best results, refrigerate the rice for several hours beforehand to keep it from turning mushy when you make the finished dish.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
4 scallions, sliced
1 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
1 medium carrot, peeled and grated
3 cups cooked and chilled long grain white rice
3 large eggs
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons soy sauce
1. Heat 2 tablespoons of the vegetable oil and the sesame oil in a large sauté pan or wok over medium heat. Add the scallions, peas, and grated carrot all at once, taking care to avoid being splattered by hot oil. Sauté the vegetables for 1 minute, stirring them constantly. Add the rice and stir the mixture occasionally as it heats for 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Have your child break the eggs into a small bowl and beat them with a fork or small whisk until blended. Then she should move the rice to the perimeter of the pan and pour the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil into the center. Add the eggs and stir them continuously with a wooden spoon until they are soft but not overcooked.
3. When the eggs are almost fully cooked, stir the rice into them until everything is well mixed. Add the soy sauce and heat for another minute or two, stirring often. Makes 4 servings.
HAPPY COOKING!!
The eggs need to go in first otherwise it will all go soggy. When they are nicely scrambled, add the cooked rice. Add spring onion for extra bite.
cook some rice, basalt, or uncle Ben's is best, a cup full perhaps, leave it to cool, in another pan heat some oil two tree spoon full, or ghee, when hot enough put some pea, corns, carrots cut into small cubs, green bean sliced and green chillies (optional ) put them in pan with the hot oil, keep turning over until these are cooked. Break 2 eggs in it after the veges are cooked, cover the pan with lid for few minuets until eggs are cooked. Add rice, sprinkle a little water , only few spoonful and a pinch of salt. also a little lemon juice, turn over this so that all the food is mixed thoroughly, turn the cooker to very low heat and it will be ready to eat in 3/4 minuets, you could also used left over rice and vegetables, prawns, roast meat, fish, chicken etc, garnish with coriander leaves.accompanied with poppadoms.prawn crackers.
you could also use soy sauce or other similar sauce, and may use a wok for the final stage of cooking, this is how I cooked fried rice, I am not chines.
boil your rice in water for about 20 mins.
Heat 1tsp oil in a frying pan. Chop up some garlic and spring onion and fry for 1-2mins. Beat an egg in a cup. Add the rice to the pan, and add the egg and stir through. Add a little soy sauce for some extra flavour.
You can also add some chopped up bacon/chicken if you like.
