How to slice with a knife?

You need a sharp, serrated knife and a light touch. Hold whatever you are cutting firmly but don't squish it. In your other hand, start at the very top of what you are cutting and begin to saw back and forth with hardly any pressure. Once it gets started, continue to saw and let the knife work it's way down. With practice, you'll get better. I'm the only person I know that can slice tomatoes and bread without mauling the heck out of either one. LOL
If you are having problems figuring this out, perhaps you should stay away from sharp objects;;;
