I work with about 40 people and need a cheap dessert that still tastes great. I know there is brownies and stuff, but i'm looking for something different.

Answers:
You can make mini cheesecakes. Just get your normal cheesecake recipe. Place oreo cookies (to act as the crust) into the paper muffin cups and pour the cheesecake filling on top. On the very top you can add crumbled oreos or sprinkles or fruit to decorate.

pudding

You can probably find the exact ingredients online, but you mix graham cracker crumbs with enough melted butter to moisten. Press this down into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and either butterscotch chips/peanut butter chips. Cover all with a can of sweetened condensed milk. Bake until browned. Cut into squares. Very easy and very rich tasting.

Just buy them sundaes from McD :)

Scotcharoos

On a stove pot in a heavy pan bring to a boil:
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of light corn syrup (Karo)
1 1/2 cups of smooth peanut butter
Mix well, bring to a gentle boil, remove from heat, than add
6 cups of Rice Krispies, mix gently but well.

Put that into a 9x13 pan, smooth out the top. when cool:
Melt 1/2 bag of chocolate chips and 1/2 bag of butterscotch chips in a pan on the stove, mixing well and doing over low heat. When melted, spread on the bars and let cool.

Chocolate covered strawberries are good(:

make a bread pudding (a big, big batch) I have gone to the day old bread outlet in our town and gotten lots of bread , then cut the crust off (white bread only) cut it in cubes then soak it in an egg and milk mixture that has almond extract and also some cinnamon and sugar and raisins and nuts in there and bake it up after it has soaked for a few hours. Serve it with whipped topping.

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert is unusual, delicious, and inexpensive to make. I bring it to church potluck dinners, and I'm lucky if there's a crumb left by the time I get to that point in the serving line!

You can double or triple the recipe for the size of the group that you're feeding -- divide the ingredients equally among two or three pans.

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

1 c Sour cream

Topping:

1 (6 oz) pkg Strawberry jello
2 c Boiling water
2 (10 oz) pkg Frozen strawberries

To prepare crust mix pretzels, margarine, and sugar together and press in to 9 x 13 pan and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.

To prepare middle layer mix cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in Cool whip and sour cream. Spread on cooled crust.

boxed carrot cake.
whipped cream and cream cheese frosting. melt the cream cheese in the micro wave until soft and blend with whipped cream.spread on the cake.

Oooh! My grandma used to make this....okay you need a gallon of vanilla ice cream (or two depending on how big your pan is, a jar of caramel syrup, and a box of oreos.
Take all the filling out of the oreos and eat it or give it to whoever (you wont need it)
You crush the oreos in a ziploc bag so they're just a little bigger than crumbs but smaller than chucks
You put a layer of ice cream( half of whatever you have) down in a pan, put a squiggly of caramel over the ice cream and then put half the oreos on top, sometimes you can do this twice but if it's small only do one layer. Then on top of your last layer is just vanilla ice cream and the oreos, and if you want more caramel put it ON TOP.
It's really good...I love it!

Super easy and everyone always loves it!!!

Pudding Fluff
2 cps Milk
2 sm box of Jell-o Instant Pudding any flavor you choose
16 oz container of Cool Whip
Graham Cracker or Oreo Cookie Crust

Put the milk in a mixing bowl, add the pudding mix. Whisk until blended, quickly fold in the Cool Whip. Scoop into the graham cracker or Oreo crust and refrigerate. This is also good frozen.
