How do you make hummus?!

Question:

How do you make hummus?

what all do you need and how do you make it

Answers:
Canned chickpeas (sometimes called garbanzo beans), a little olive oil, a little lemon juice, spice to your liking, blend in food processor until proper consistency. It's easy! Play with a few different ratios until you get a taste/texture that you and your friends/family like best.

NOUN:
A smooth thick mixture of mashed chickpeas, tahini, oil, lemon juice, and garlic, used especially as a dip for pita.

Go to www.epicurious.com and type in hummus in the search. They have several good recipes for it.

Everyone is right. But when you look on epicurious.com, look for the one with parsley oil. I put it in a bread bowl and it wowed all my family at our last get-together.

Here's a good recipe from the Food Network's website that doesn't require you to buy an expensive container of tahini (sesame paste). This particular recipe is a big hit at my house.
