Does anyone have a recipe for a chocolate chip cake?!

Question:

Does anyone have a recipe for a chocolate chip cake?

With the frosting recipe if possible. I had one when I was younger and would love to bake one for my kids. Thanks!! =)

Answers:
I've made chocolate chip cakes by using a white or yellow mix and just adding the chips. Chop them a little if you can, or use mini-chips. Don't add the chips while the cake is mixing. Make and pour the batter into your pans. Sprinkle the chips over the batter and tap them with a spatula to sink them a little. They'll settle a bit, so you won't have a layer of chips, but not all the way to the bottom like they do when you mix them into the batter in a mixer.

The icing I use is usually 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate, swirled together. Use a can or make up a regular batch of icing (about 1/2 box powdered sugar, 3 to 4 tablespoons margarine, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and a few teaspoons of water. Start with three and add another one or two if needs be. It doesn't need much water at all.) Add cocoa powder to half of it -- -- and just a little more water to that half, of course.

go to this website, they have a ton of recipies =)
