Jamie Oliver dessert with french name??..?!

Question:

Jamie Oliver dessert with french name??..?

I saw jamie oliver make a desert a couple of years ago, it had a french name but i forget what it was?..
It was like egg whites whipped up, then he added cream i'm pretty sure and sugar and lumps of chocolate added and then folded together and put into the freezer for a couple of hours to set...
There may have been other ingredients im not sure.

Can anyone help out with a name???

Was it a bombe?

Hi there! A slight misattribution can lead a searcher down curious byways in many books... :-)

It's not French, but Italian, and you'll find it in "Jamie's Italy" pp. 288-289, as a 'Semifreddo con Cioccolato e Riso', a chocolate and rice semifreddo. That's the only one that matches each element of your description.

I've left a URL to the book for you, in 'sources' below, in case you don't have it. [(1) = US, (2) = UK/EU)

All the best.
