I’ve used teaspoons and piping bags. But want to use a scoop to be more consistent. Yes, it would be an ice-cream scoop, but you may know is that there are a lot of different sizes and I need the one the would fill a mini cupcake 2/3.
The number is printed on the little metal swing bar that moves inside the scoop.

try using a # 24 which will give you 1 1/2 onces of dough per scoup. or if you wish to go even smaller try a # 30 which will give you 1 1/4 onces of dough per serving. however scoops this small most likely won't be labeld as ice cream scoops, they may be labeld as dishers, or cookie dough scoops. good luck.

ice cream scoop??

just use a teaspoon. fill them up 3/4 of the way. why do you need a special scoop for it?

if you are making a lot of cupcakes you should use a ice cream scoop and put the batter in a large 4 cup measuring cup it will make it go a lot faster i just had to do 200 cupcakes
