Can I fry frozen sausages?!

Question:

Can I fry frozen sausages?

Id like sausages for dinner...but they are frozen...I havent had a chance to defrost them. Can I stick them in the frying pan and cook them even if they are frozen? Will they defrost properly? Will they cook ok? Please help, Im hungry!!! :(

Answers:
Put them in the pan and cover part way with water, cook on medium for a few minutes, flip over, cook a few minutes. The water will help cook them faster without burning. Drain off the water, add butter etc, and fry on medium low until browned.. YUMMY

As you're having the sausages for dinner, you have time to defrost them in the microwave OR soak them in hot water for a while. Keep changing the water as it cools down, about every thirty minutes or so.

Yea, you can. I've done it before. The water from the frozen sasusage will keep it from burning.

yes living on a farm we do it all the time

MOST DEFINITELY I DO IT ALL THE TIME .PLACE THE SAUSAGE IN SOME WATER FOR AT LEAST A MINUTE TAKE OUT OF THE WATER AND PUT IN THE FRYING PAN.

nuke em first for 5 mins .....then fry em up!

yes you can . place sausages in pan and cover 1/2 way with water cover and cook when water is gone then brown the sausages like normal.

Put them in the mic for a minute or so and then cook them. As long as it isn't pink when you are done cooking it, you should be fine.
