Yes - desertsk - you can substitute a mixture of 1-1/4 cup of all pourpse flour minus 2 measuring table spoons. 1/4
tea spoon salt 1 1/4 tea spoon baking powder 3 level table spoons shortening(crisco) --- Mix dry ingredents in a small mixing bowl cut in shortening untill mix looks
like bisquick. Use in your recipe as called for.
I hope this gets you out of a bind jim b

no - bisquick has the baking soda & salt already added to make it rise. It might work with self rising flour.

No, flour will not be a suitable substitute. Bisquick is a "complete baking mix" meaning that it has its own leaveners, salt, buttermilk depending on the type you have, and other ingredients. Sorry.

NO!! Flour has not baking soda or baking powder in it, Bisquick does!
