Im making turkey burgers?!

Question:

Im making turkey burgers?

what can i put in them to make them stay moist and to keep from being dried out. I usually use an egg and a packet of onion soup mix...but thougt id try something different.

Answers:
I cook mine low and slow. Meaning I put them in a fry pan and cook over low heat for several minutes until done on one side, then flip them. The moisture stays in and they turn out fine. Be sure to spice them up with something you like.

ADD A BIT OF OLIVE OIL

Use a lot of diced onions for moisture.

The egg keeps it from falling apart. The soup is for flavor.

Try some UN cooked oatmeal that keeps regular hamburgers moist too. onion soup mix I will have to try that too.

TURKEY AND CHEDDAR BURGERS

1 lb ground turkey
1 cup grated cheddar
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
1 tsp parsley
1 tbs dried chives or 2 of fresh chopped
1 tsp dried onion
1 tsp garlic powder
dash of each salt, pepper, paprika

Form loosely packed burgers Spray a non stick pan with cooking spray Heat pan on high add burgers to hot pan reduce heat to medium cover pan (keeps everything moist) Cook 3-4 minutes on each side turning as little as possible.
Very tasty. Great on grill!

make sure you don't push them down with the spatula because that takes a lot of moisture out of them as well
