Heat up a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh mushrooms sliced 1/4 cup fresh snipped parsley
1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup dry sherry optional
4 tablespoons flour or use more chicken broth or water
13 ounces cans of chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream warmed
Directions
Wash mushrooms and chop coarsely.Heat the butter in a 3 quart saucepan. Saute the mushrooms about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the flour over to coat. Add the broth gradually, stirring constantly. Add the parsley and sherry. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream. (You may whirl in a blender at this point for a smoother texture, Some prefer just to leave as is).

CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. butter
2 c. milk or light cream
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. chicken stock
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sour cream
Saute mushrooms and onion in 4 tablespoons butter. Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring regularly. Add chicken stock. Melt over low heat the other 4 tablespoons butter. Add flour and cook for 5 minutes, stirring. Add milk and cream slowly and stir until thickened and smooth. Add salt and pepper. Stir in the mushrooms, onion, and chicken stock. Slowly add the sour cream, which has been brought to room temperature.
