Answers:
Try taco seasoning

mix in some southwest seasonings. or perhaps chop up some jalepenos.

I always make a bean dip with refried beans by mixing in Nacho sauce... It's actually REALLY good and it tastes like the stuff that Frito-Lays makes...Try it!

canned green chilies

Add some diced chili peppers

i use cumin and chili podwer... a nice smokey heat.......use the chili powder by the amount of heat you like

I like dried red peppers (found in the spice aisle) & I also use Frank's Red Hot sauce. I can sure clear out my sinuses!

Try garlic, it is good with so many things!! :)

Some add-in ideas for refried beans are...

...Jalapeno Salt
...Chili powder or green chilis
...Taco Sauce (not thick salsa)
...Cumin
...A dash of Cayenne Pepper

Or...go all out and make homemade bean dip to serve with chips or nachos...It is soooo good and really easy-

-1 Large can of refried beans
-3-4 oz. cream cheese
-4 ounces sour cream
-chili powder, jalapeno salt
-cheddar-jack cheese for topping

Mix all ingredients together except last. Microwave for 30 seconds- 1 minute at a time, stirring after each time unitl all ingredients are melted and smooth. Sprinkle with cheddar-jack and melt!

It is yummy!

Cayenne pepper, chilli powder, cumin, salt and black pepper
OR
Franks Red Hot(hot sauce)
OR
I liked the suggestion of Taco seasoning...That sounds good

just add a can of diced green chilli's they won't be to spicy but they will give them flavor also look the have some that are already flavored

korkie

Add a little water just to make them a little more moister, then mix in some chopped jalapenos, some salt and top with some shredded cheddar cheese. After that the possibilities are endless.

how about Pace Picante sauce? Just pour a little in your beans and stir and heat.

For one, stop buying canned re-fried beans. Buy pinto beans in a jar or can if you don't want to make them homemade. Buy some Chorizo-spicy if you like it. Chorizo is Mexican sausage, they sell it every where.

On medium heat, Pour oil in a fry pan about 2 tablespoons. Place, usually about 1/2 cup chorizo to 1- 30 oz can of beans. (You may add more or less to your taste as you prefect the recipe to your liking.) Fry until lightly brown. Turn heat up to med. high. Drain beans well and pour into chorizo, add a little salt, garlic powder, and a dash of black pepper. Use a potato masher to mash beans well. Then use a large spoon to continue cooking until your beans are re-fried. If at any time your beans stick, add a little more oil. You can add anything to this recipe to spice it up more if you like, but I guarantee you will like this just as described. It is not spicy hot, just taste awesome!!

how about hot sauce, like Tobasco?

Add some Thick and Spicy Salsa and lots of Jack cheese.
