What do you make with French Onion Soup mix?!

Question:

What do you make with French Onion Soup mix?

Do you do anything special with your dry french onion soup mix? I make a potato bake but I know there's tons of other really cool stuff you can do with it. Please let me know your favourite recipe.

Answers:
I have 2 favourite ones.
1. Steak with french onion soup (FOS mix) & mashed potato. You sprinkle the FOS Mix over steak and cook for about 1 hour on 180 degrees - Make sure you cover it over so that it steams the mix.
2. Meat Balls - Add 1/2 mince & 1/2 sasuage mince, F.O.S. mix & some bbq or tomato sauce, make into meatballs or hamburgers and serve with salad & vegies...

Happy cooking and hope it works out for you.

onion dip

Mix a packet of it with a 16 ounce tub of sour cream or unflavored yogurt for a dip. Eat it with chips or veggie sticks.

I use the Lipton Onion Soup Mix to make meatloaf, the recipe is on the back of the box.

Chopped Meat
One packet of mix
Ketchup
Water
Breadcrumbs

It comes out perfect every time.

I make french onion dip for chips or veggies. Just mix 1 packet of soup mix with a pint of sour cream ...let sit for a while for the flavors to blend and serve.

I use it as a seasoning for my meats. Pork chops, chicken, u name it. It adds a very nice twang to ur meats.

Really good hamburgers, take however much beef you have add a package of onion soup mix mush together and throw the burgers on the grill! My fiancee loves them this way and the neighbors always peek their noses out when they smell'em!

I put it in pot roast

MEATLOAF! French onion soup mix is one of the best flavor additives to any meatloaf recipe

The world's best chip dip! Take some cream cheese or Neufchatel, soften it in the microwave and combine with milk until creamy -- then add a half pack of French Onion soup mix (or according to taste). Serve with ripple chips, because this is a *heavy* dip!

I make:

Pot Roast
Chicken Wings
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Meatloaf
French Onion Soup
Beef Stroganoff

But that's the stuff on a regular basis...

if you go to kraftfoods.com and enter it in as the ingredient, you can find a whole bunch of recipes.
