Can you freeze homemade split pea soup??!

Question:

Can you freeze homemade split pea soup??

Answers:
I freeze mine in individual servings and thaw it in the microwave for about 4-5 minutes. Comes out like fresh.

Depends on what you made it with.

If you did not put any flour or cornflour/cornstartch in to thicken it then yes, go ahead and freeze it it will be fine.

Cornflour/cornstartch thickeners can cause separation and weepiness when you thaw it out. You can give it a good whisk up and it should still be fine.

why would you ask a sily question like that, the answer is yes.

yep
