I had a clear soup at a Sushi restaurant. Does anyone have a recipe?

It was most likely Dashi, which is a simple soup made from seaweed (usually kombu) and bonito (dried fish) flakes. You steep those ingredients in hot water and add a little soy sauce or tamari, then strain through cheesecloth or a clean tea towel. It's very easy to make, and there are a lot of recipes on line. For it to be even better, add some chopped chives and dried mushroom slices to re-hydrate in the broth before eating.

OK, for those who have never eaten it, miso soup is not clear. When you put the miso in, it makes it cloudy.

Probably,it was Miso Soup. You can get Miso paste at the health food stores. Just a little miso disolved in boiling water with a few bits of tofu and/or green onion, should do it!
