Peanut butter and banana sandwiches?!

Question:

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches?

If you have had one, what do you think?
And should the peanut butter be on top or below? I personally find it easier spreading banana on peanut butter than vice versa.

Answers:
First you need a multi grain bread-something lots of wonderful seeds and some texture-no wonderbread here.
Then chunky peanut butter smeared on the first slice of bread-a little too much peanut butter is just right.
then slice half a banana and press the slices into the peanut butter.
Then a drizzle of honey over the banana slices, then the second slice of bread.
Wash it down with a tall cold glass of milk. Then you'll need a nap.
Mmmmmmmmmmm

you are mad

yum yum yum.... well it dusnt really matter... you can just turn over the sandwich...

they are great, put the bananas on top obviously...

peanut butter first then bannana. now that sounds pretty good.

i personally dont like peanut butter, but try bananna and sugar sandwiches! or cheese slices and prawn cocktail crisp sandwichs...! (yes i have alot of spare time)

They are good. I put the peanut butter on then the banana.

I think i would love it, but may i be as bold to suggest toasting it.

I've never heard of a Peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but I've heard of peanut butter and jelly.

MMMMM yummy.....I put peanut butter on both pieces of bread to keep the sandwich together.

I have never tried this mixture but it's a good idea. If I was to make it then I would mash the banana on a plate first then spread it on top of the peanut butter.

Ugh makes me feel sick.

Are you a Geordie?

The only person I've ever known to eat this was a Geordie!

Peanut butter on both slices of bread and banana in the middle, even better if fried in butter !.

They're awesome.. You mention "spreading banana on peanut butter".. So, I'm guessing that you must squish up the bananas or something? The way I had them growing up was to take the bread, put some peanut butter on, put SLICES of bananas on it and then another piece of bread. (Sometimes what I would do would be to put half the amount of peanut butter on each piece of bread so that they stuck nicely to the bananas from both sides of the sandwich :))...

Also.. Peanut butter and cucumber slices is good too.. and also.. peanut butter and lettuce is also good.. (I personally like it with a crunchy iceberg lettuce).

:)

well i have never had a peanut and banana sandwich, but i LOVE eating peanuts and bananas together - its a great combination! i dont see the need to add bread

and yes, banana on top of PB sounds best.

Yes I have had them, and yes they are good. Once I even put a little chocolate pudding in the mix. Delicious!

Just put peanut butter on one side, and slices of banana on the other and walla! That is my most favorite sandwich of all time...It was Elvis's too.

I like it any way.

Why dont you ask Elvis?-He died eating that crap!

yes 1st the butter then the sliced banana
for variations try bacon and/or strawberry jam

I have never tried a peanut butter sandwich, however, I have heard that if you spread it on both sides of the bread then it gives more taste.

I had one they are delicious. You should try peanutbutter with fluffy now mouth watering sandwich. northern sandwich. Try it youre like it.

i dont like them.

You think this is bad my husband loves Peanut butter and Bologna. I personally love peanut butter, Mayo, onions, and salt and pepper

Ooh, I love peanut butter! I also like bananas but I've never had them both in a sandwich! Must try that.
It makes more sense speading the peanut butter and then putting the banana on top.

dont eat it!!!!!!
its disgusting!

first put the beans and cheese on then cover it with the tortilla

Lovely, spread the peanut butter on both slices of bread and then add coarsely ground black pepper and then add the banana

Finally, someone else who eats them. Best sandwich ever, and I'd agree the peanut butter has to go on the bottom, otherwise you end up with banana all over the worktop. If you want something even better, try adding a couple of marshmallows and sticking it in a brevel...mmmmmm
