Also, do I not put anything in the frying pan when I cook the meat (no oil, no water, etc)? Please help me...I dont want to kill my boyfriend with bad cooking...LoL.

Just cook it until the meat is compeltey brown. Then you'll need to strain the greese off. You might want to add salt, peper, etc while it's cooking also.
I would say you do it approximately. When the beef looks the color you want it... then there you go! And if I were you, I would add a slight touch of oil to the pan so it wont burn... or you can just use cooking spray
You should cook the ground beef in tell it lookes cooked you do not want to see a pink at all dont cooked it on a high temp slow cook
you do not need to put anything in the pan with the meat. there is no set time, just cook it and break it up as you go, until there is NO pink at all. it will all be brown (burger color) Also, don't cook it on high heat, cook it over med to med/high heat.
Put the ground beef in a fry pan and saute it until its well done. You don't have to add any oil, the meat will have its own grease to cook in. You can add some onions and peppers with the ground beef and cook it all together. Make sure you drain well in a colander in the sink. Add the drained meat to a deep pan and add your tomato sauce. Cook on low for a couple of hours. Be sure to add some seasonings to this such as, garlic powder, Italian seasoning if you have it, 2 tsp sugar to cut the acidy taste, parsley, oregano. Good luck, I'm sure you can cook pasta for him, just read the directions on the box :)
Use ground chuck or 80/20 ground beef. Put the pan on medium high heat with about a cup of water. Crumble the meat in to the water and cook with occasional stirring until the water evaporates. Turn down to medium. Add salt and pepper and 1/4" diced onions. Keep stirring until the meat starts to get a bit browned and the onions are translucent and starting to darken slightly. Then add this to the pasta sauce. I don't drain the fat. After the sauce is back at the boil, reduce to simmer and skim excess fat if it comes to the top.
It depends on the type of meat you have, if you are using something that doesn't have a lot of fat (ground turkey, or 10% or less of fat) you should put a little olive oil in the pan and let that heat for a couple minutes on medium heat. If the meat has more fat than what I mentioned, you probably don't need to add any oil (the fat keeps it from sticking to the pan) I would season it with a little salt and pepper and stir with a wooden spoon and crumble the meat while it's cooking. Cook it until you feel like it's edible. Also, you could make meatballs if you don't want meat sauce. Take the same meat, put it in a mixing bowl, add a handful of seasoned bread crumbs, salt and pepper, garlic powder and one whipped egg (sometimes I put Parmesan cheese in that mixture). Mix that up with your hands and form into meatballs. You can bake these in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes and put them in your sauce when they are baked. Good luck, have fun, hopefully your dinner will turn out like the scene in Lady and the Tramp!
well here is how I do it. I always make it homemade, no ragu and all that other crap. Brown your beef in a boigger type pot, with just maybe a 1/2 cup of water because some of it will cook down. Cook it on medium until the beef is brown. Now pour in a can of diced tomotoes, a can of tomato sauce, add a small can of mushrooms or some fresh mushrooms if you like them. Add about 2 Tbsp of italian seasoning , 1 tsp fennel seed, 2 tbsp thyme, diced onion chili powder until it smells like you have enough, diced garlic. Stir it all together and let it simmer on a medium low for about an hour stir occasionally. Cook your noodles near the end of the simmering time for the sauce. They need to be placed in boiling water and boiled for about 15-20 minutes. Good luck and have fun.
No idea.
