Answers:
usually the liquid goes in first, along with the sugar, salt and any fat's i.e. oil, or butter then the flour and last the yeast sits on top of the flour.. Always separate the yeast from the liquid and salt.. as the salt will stop the action by the yeast. Then hit the button for the type of bread your making i.e. white, wheat etc and select the size .. 1 1/2 lb or 2 lbs and then let it go.. Check the bread dough after about the first 4 minutes and see if it looks smooth .. if not add a small , 1 tsp at a time of water to the dough and let it mix.. the dough should look smooth and slightly shiny.. Then just let the machine do the rest .. When it is done baking.. take it out of the pan as soon as possible The little spinner that mix's the dough may be stuck in the bottom of the bread ..just wait until it cools and then pull it out. The longer it sits in the pan the crust will get softer.. and you want some crunch to the crust.. Then wait for at least 30-40 minutes letting it cool on a rack before you cut it.. And that is it.. Good luck......

According to my DAK industries machine. I start with the hot water, then the yeast, then all the other ingredients: butter, oils, salt, sugars/honeys, chiles, beer, cheeses, flour last, dried fruits last, Happy breadmaking.

You can probably find the manual online, but the basic order is dry on top of wet and turn it on.

The same thing happened to me, I found the instructions by Googling the type of bread maker I got and it printed out 76 pages! It was good though because in the instructions were TONS of recipes so that was nice .... a little hint, when I first started using my bread maker I bought those little pouches of yeast at the store, they get expensive, I would recommend if you plan on making bread frequently, to buy the jar of yeast (you can find it where the baking stuff is .. flour, etc.) and keep it in the fridge, it lasts a long time! Also, make sure you buy bread flour, not just regular flour, it usually comes in a goldish yellow bag, it makes a difference!

First you add the hot liquid. It shouldn't be hot enough to burn you because then it will kill the yeast which is actually alive. Then you add the sugar, salt, oil or butter, flour, and Last the yeast on top. Then you can start the machine. Good luck. Watch as it mixes, sometimes you have to add more liquid if it wont come together. It shouldn't be too wet either it should be a bit like PlayDough. If its too moist add a bit more flour.
