Paprika Sauce for Pasta:

1 stick of butter
1 teaspoon paprika
8 tablespoons flour (white)
1 can of chicken stock
1-1/2 cups of sour cream

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Stir in the paprika spice and flour until a paste texture is made. Add the chicken stock and stir to remove all lumps. Add the sour cream and stir until combined. Simmer until warmed thoroughly. Serve over pasta. Makes a large amount. Enjoy!

its called four layer deligght, my aunt makes it ist awsome

can of tomato soup
1 cup cheese
4 cups of cabbage
1 onion diced
1 teaspoon of garlic
salt and pepper
1/2 cup of sour cream
add all together and bake in the oven for 1 hour

Mom's Pot Roast!

3 lb chuck roast, trim as much fat as possible
6 large potatoes, peeled and halved
1 lb of carrots, peeled and cut lengthwise, then halved
1 small clove of garlic, minced
salt and pepper
1 bay leaf
pinch of thyme
3 cups beef broth (canned, from the deli, leftover gravy, etc)

1) Melt 1 tbsp of bacon grease in a heavy 4 qt Dutch oven until very hot.
2) Cover the meat with lots of pepper, little salt.
3) Brown the meat in the bacon fat on all sides, on very high heat. This will make a lot of noise. The browner the meat, the tastier your gravy will be.
4) Remove the meat and set aside. Add the broth, the vegetables, the garlic and the seasonings.
5) Return the meat to the pan, cover tightly. Simmer on low heat until the meat falls apart, about 3-4 hours.
6) Remove meat and vegetables to serving dishes. Bring liquid in the pan to a boil. Add 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of flour, shaken together in a covered jar until smooth. Boil until the gravy thickens. Serve with the meat and vegetables.

This is much simpler than it sounds, and soooo delicious!
