A rich, buttery sauce for pasta with herbs and garlic. Great with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese. Try serving it over your favorite pasta. Easy to double or triple."


1/3 cup butter
1 clove crushed garlic
1/4 tablespoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano

DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan melt butter, add garlic and saute until cooked. Add dried oregano and dried basil and stir until heated through.
Serve warm.

for a little variation u can give it a cream base and it would even better!!!All u have to do is add 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1 tbsp. of flour and some salt and pepper.
or add a tiny bit of olive oil, and small chunks of mozarella cheese to the pasta... Oh, and a pinch of salt and pepper


DILLY BUTTER GARLIC SAUCE

3 c. butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 2 tsp. dried
1/2 c. lemon juice

In saucepan cook garlic in 1 tablespoon of the butter until golden. Add remaining butter and dill; heat until the butter is melted. Stir in lemon juice. Use to baste shrimp or meat. Makes 3 1/2 cups.

Garlic and butter. Use cream base, simmer over med heat. Before it begins to boil add 4 cloves (From one bulb garlic) minced and 1/2 stick (or 4 tablespoons) butter. Season lightly with basil (pinch) and chives (pinch). Keep simmering and stirring until thickened. Quantity and seasons though remain with individual. It is ready in about 10 min from start to finish.
