What is a good recipe for icing dougnuts?!

Question:

What is a good recipe for icing dougnuts?

Answers:
after the doughnuts are cooked let them drain on papper towels once they are mostly cooled you can toss them in powdered sugar "icing sugar"
or cinnomon
or white sugar

if you want real "icing"
1 cup of icing sugar
add 1 teaspoon of flavoring vanilla or maple some extact that you like the flavor of
next add just enough milk or water to make it slightly runny
stir welll
once the doughnuts are mostly cooled pour over the top it will harden once they have cooled after the icing has run over them you can add sprinkles or any other candy

if you want glazed doughnuts make the icing as above but make it more runny you want it very runny

once the doughnuts are cooked place on papper towels several thicknesses after some of the grease has drained but while they are still hot dip them in the bowl with the icing one at time you may need a spoon to get the icing all over them once covered pick up and hold over the bowl so the excess can drain off then place on a cooling rack with either a plate or wax papper under it so it can catch the drips

once they are glazed you can toss them into coconut before they dry

there are many different types; like glazes, chocolate, caramel, deep dark chocolate, jelly types, white chocolate, cinnamon, powdered, etc......
