How do I make bagels?!

Question:

How do I make bagels?

Answers:
Bagel (there's no s) are made by first boiling, then baking the dough. It's long and messy, but lots of fun (if you're into long and messy).

Here's a typical recipe:
http://earthnotes.tripod.com/bagels.htm...

put them in the toaster oven!!!

you make normal dogh for bread and you knead it and but it in the shape of a bagel and spray it hard-core with cooking spray...you bake it and cut it in half...dingdingding...we have a weenur

dont know

well, slice them in half, not so you hav a half ring, like so you have 2 rings. put them in the toaster for about lets say...3 minutes then take them out and butter them, or put houmus on them...thats the best ever! lol xx

Here is a recipe for absolutely authentic bagels: http://www.jewish-food.org/recipes/brea0...

However---- bagels are not particularly fun to make! They take a tremendous amount of time and effort. I would only suggest making them if you can't get anything close to a decent bagel in your city. If you can only get Lenders, try the recipe!

they have to be boiled before baking.

Ordinary bread dough, but boil briefly before you bake.
