Amount of Falafel Spices?!

Question:

Amount of Falafel Spices?

My wife brought me back a Falafel Spice blend and I'm not sure how much Falafel Spice to add when making Falafels. Anyone have a falafel recipe that calls for Falafel Spice blend instead of individual spices?

Answers:
Here's a recipe that calls for a Falafel Spice blend. It asks for 4-5 tsp (ie, about 1.5 Tbsp).

Falafel Recipe (from scratch) with Falafel Spice blend:

Ingredients:
1 cup dried garbanzo beans, soaked in water to cover overnight and drained
1 cup dried shelled fava beans, soaked overnight and drained
1/2 cup peeled and finely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed (or equivalent garlic powder)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup garbanzo flour
1/4 cup fine bulghur (cracked wheat)
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
1/4 tbs. salt
4 - 5 tsp [Zamouri Spices] Falafel Spice Mix
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
oil for deep-frying
pita bread

PREPARATION:
Blend the drained garbanzo beans and fava beans in your food processor. Mix all the remaining ingredients and let the mixture stand for 1 hour. Form into 2 inch. Deep-fry in 375° oil until toasty brown and crunchy on the outside; about 4 minutes. Fill pita bread with falafel and your choice of condiments such as sliced tomatoes, turkish salad, sliced onion, tahini, sliced cucumber, hot green peppers, lettuce. Makes about 24 patties (6 sandwiches). Falafel balls can also be served separately as appetizers with dips.
