Question:

Here are is what I have.....?

Brown rice,a little strip of chicken, some brocolli,a carrot and some greens(like cabbage). Can anyone think of anything exciting to do with these ingredients please.I am off to do the weekly shop tomorrow, and just need to make do with these tonight.

Answers:
why not just throw it all together( diced of course) with a stock cube and see what happens

Risotto. Make a stock with a cube. Chop all veg finely, stir fry. Boil the rice in the stock, stir in the veg, season, grate some cheese in and add herbs. Done.

Looks like a nice soup to me

I would suggest boiling the rice to start, set this aside. make a stir fry with the chicken and veggies- in a bit of oil cook your chicken, cut into small pieces. chop or julliene your veggies, and add them to your chicken, stir fry these with some terikaki or soy sauce until they are tender/crisp add over your cooked rice and enjoy an easy asianish treat.

Sounds like stir-fry to me.
Cut chicken & veggies into small pieces.
Stir-fry until done, then add sauce (either from a jar or mix up some soy sauce, garlic, ginger, chili flakes and a spoonful of honey)
Serve over the rice.

Make a stir fry from the chicken , carrot, broccoli and greens, make sure you add the greens last, and serve over the rice, or along side of the rice, Add your favorite spices and seasonings to the stir fry as you prepare it and it should be a nice meal. The risotto was also a great idea.

Like everyone else said, sounds like you should make stir fry.

you could make a white sauce, and maybe put some parsley in for a nicer flavour, and just cook the chicken rice and veg and pour the sauce over. If only you had some cheese you could put some on top and finish it under the grill!

Sounds like you can combine them to make a stir fry, do you have any soy or teriyake sauce? Add one tablespoon and some oil and dice the chicken and add the cooked rice at the end.

boil the rice, leave to cool slightly.
fry the chicken ( i'll pass i'm a veggie ) add the sliced/diced veggies & the rice.
hey presto, a risotto!

put them in a bag and then take them bungee jumping.
