BBQ Grill identification?!
BBQ Grill identification?
My dad used to have a small red bbq grill that looked like a small keg on its side. there was a little door on top and a smokestack. Anyone know what kind of grill this was? It was about 1' x 1' x 2' big. I'd like to get him another for Father's Day.

Thanks wineduchess, but that's not it. I think the name of it was "little smokie" or "lil smoker" or something with smokie in it. I think my dad said it was made somewhere in southern Texas.

It is in fact a little smokie. My grandfather has one. He bought it years ago like he buys all his grilling gear- at Lowe's Hardware. It's made by Weber. Called a Little Smokies Grill. However, I went to the Weber website, and I don't see it there. It may no longer be made. Although, they have something called a "Smoky Joe", which my grandfather also has. He bought it say maybe 10 years ago. So the little smokie may be discontinued.
Seascape Florida Condominium claims on there website to have a Little Smoky in each condo. Maybe they could help you too. Their website is:

Good luck!
I have one of those in a bigger style. I purchased mine from Wal*Mart about 5 years ago, I paid somewhere around $250 for it, I think they still have them today, you might check it out.
