Gound some burgers in the freezer?!

Question:

Gound some burgers in the freezer?

They were packaged in Jan 2006... should i eat them or just garbage???
There is no freezer burn and they look good

Answers:
As long as you know they have been frozen for the entire time and are not freezer burned, they will be fine. Quality might not be as good as fresh, but safety wise, they are fine.

Throw them away. Over a year old, I wouldn't chance it.

I would not suggest keeping it. Even if frozen, food can still rot. Cook one up and see how it smells. But my suggestion, dump it.

Umm you SHOULD be fine, but I would probably not eat them just to be safe. Also depends on your freezer, is it a DEEP freeze like under 10 degrees F? That would probably be ok but just like the on top of fridge ones? I would say just chuck em, food poisoning is not worth it!!

I would toss it

Don't eat them... They are most likely freezer burnt!

Throw them away!!!!

they may look good, but throw them out, especially over a year.It has a lot of bacteria that you don't see and you don't want to eat.

I wouldn't keep them longer then 3 monthes so I say toss um.

If it has been in a Freezer, you can eat it safely. DEPEND on what freezing temperature it has been set, and for how long. They do it all the time at most dinning out restaurant. Thaw it, mix it with salt which activate pH in the protein, you can safely used them for cooking. If you are really concerned, I would throw them away just to feel safe inside.
