Chicken Parm Pie

Serves 4 people
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
5-6 chicken cutlets
1 box of noodles; can use penne, campanelle, or bow-tie
2 eggs
1 small bowl of italian seasoning bread crumbs
1 can pasta sauce (marinara)
1 package of mozzarella cheese

Directions: Heat deep fryer to 400 degrees or place vegetable oil in a large skillet on med-high setting to heat up. Boil 4 quarts of water for noodles. Cut chicken cutlets into 1" x 1" pieces. Dip 6 pieces of chicken at a time in egg, bread crumbs, then into fryer basket or on a separate plate if putting in skillet. Once fryer basket/skillet is full, drop chicken pieces into oil. Let cook for about 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat this action until all of the chicken is cooked (may take about 3 batches of chicken in fryer). Once chicken is done, place on paper towel lined plate to drain excess oil. Once water starts to boil (usually in the middle of frying chicken batches), add noodles and cook for 10-12 minutes. A few minutes later, right before the noodles are done: in a small to medium saucepan, heat up marinara sauce for about 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently. Turn on broiler to heat up for future use. Once noodles are done, drain and place equal amounts of noodles onto 4 separate plates. Place equal amounts of sauce onto each plate and mix noodles & sauce together on each plate Place equal amounts of chicken pieces onto each plate, then top it all off with a liberal amount of mozzarella cheese covering the entire dish. Place one plate into broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is golden brown on top. Repeat with the other 3 plates, until finished. PLATES WILL BE VERY HOT!! Use pot holders at all times to handle plates. Another good suggestion might be placing pot holders or dish towels underneath each plate, so table does not burn from hot plate.

ENJOY!!

I usually like deep fried coke cans with a peanut butter glaze and brocolli pop tarts

egg noodles, greenbeans, corn, porkchops, spaghetti, rice, jumbaliha, hamburgers.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II
INGREDIENTS

* 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 6 slices Swiss cheese
* 6 slices ham
* 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 6 tablespoons butter
* 1/2 cup dry white wine
* 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* 1 cup heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS

1. Pound chicken breasts if they are too thick. Place a cheese and ham slice on each breast within 1/2 inch of the edges. Fold the edges of the chicken over the filling, and secure with toothpicks. Mix the flour and paprika in a small bowl, and coat the chicken pieces.
2. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the chicken until browned on all sides. Add the wine and bouillon. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
3. Remove the toothpicks, and transfer the breasts to a warm platter. Blend the cornstarch with the cream in a small bowl, and whisk slowly into the skillet. Cook, stirring until thickened, and pour over the chicken. Serve warm.

Wine Tip

Try with a California Chardonnay .

There are so many variations of stew and soup, that it litterally fills hundreds of books. If your family is tired of the same old beef and chicken dishes, look for fish meals using inexpensive cuts of fish, and fish stock as a welcome change.
Are there ingredients in your family that are always a hit: Go to www.epicurious.com and enter that one word in the search bar and see all the amazing things that come up.
Chicken doesn't have to be baked and fried over and over - there are millions of interesting ways to serve it - and beef too.
PS: Vegetarian dishes can be delicious and satisfying if you fill them up with favorite ingredients.
Good luck

There are books shows you how. Go to a local library or book store. You will be amazed what you can find.

Quick and easy - a salad with grilled chicken. You can *** whatever fresh veggies you have on hand. If you family doesn't do salads, try chicken breast, chicken or turkey cheese burgers with cucumbers on the side.

There are some great and easy recipes on foodnetwork.com or pillsbury.com.

I don't know what you normally cook...but this is always easy.

Italian chicken.

You need:
Chicken (duh)
Itailian Dressing (Bottle)

Put chicken in pan and just pour the bottle of dressing over it. And baste every 20 minutes until done.

Roasted Potatoes:
Just wash and cut up some potatoes and mix them in a little Olive Oil then sprinkle a packet of DRY Onion Soup over them and bake for about 40 minutes.

Cook a vegetable your family likes (I usually cook green beans.) and serve!

Lemon Chicken

this is a very inexact recipe... i dont measure any of it. ok you need:
boneless skinless chicken breasts (for however many you're feeding)
one lemon, quartered
lemon pepper
butter
garlic powder

rub chicken with butter all over, and tuck some butter into any little 'pockets' the chicken may have.
sprinkle all over with lemon pepper, garlic powder (both sides)
get a deep baking pan, line with foil (enough to make a pouch to close over the chicken)
put chicken in the pan
squeeze lemon quarters onto chicken, toss in the pan. close the foil.
bake at 350 for thirty minutes. dont open the foil before 30 minutes.
if done right you will have the juiciest chicken imaginable.

1 med. tomato ( cut into bite size wedges)

Directions:
1.cook the noodles as directed on pkg. In a large skillet.
2. Let the noodles cook for 5 minutes then add the zucchini to become soft.
3. When there is hardly anymore liquid in the saucepan add the chicken and coat with alfredo sauce.
4. then add the tomatoes at the very end to get warm.
serve with parmeasan cheese on top!!

How about baked chicken in cream of mushroom soup with rice.
It's simple: chicken breasts, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup a little milk, water or sour cream. The directions are on the back of the can of cream of mushroom soup.

Not a mushroom fan, try baked ziti with your favorite toppings
not a pasta fan, try making your version of Chinese rice with any meat or veggies.

Try baked fish with lots of veggies or chicken pot pie.

DEEP FRIED OREROS!! need i say more. these are a midwest fav and you have to have it aleast once in ur life.. they're really good.. just buy any frying batter add alittle sweet cream instead of the full water amount and about 1/3 cup sugar or to taste and coat those bad boys and enjoy!!

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
1/4 cup KRAFT Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing, divided
1 zucchini, cut into chunks
1 red pepper, cut into chunks
1 cup chopped asparagus
1/2 of a red onion, cut into chunks

PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Brush chicken with 2 Tbsp. of the dressing. Let stand 10 min.
MEANWHILE, poke holes in bottom of disposable aluminum foil pan. Toss vegetables with remaining 2 Tbsp. dressing. Place in prepared pan.

We do build your own pizzas with the pre made crusts.

Also, bread pork chops and then bake them in the oven with two cans of golden mushroom soup. Add the rice you can micro for 90 seconds and a canned veggie.

Put a pork roast in the crock pot with red potatoes and carrots. Let it cook all day and then only one pan to clean.

Buy the pre sliced and pre cooked chicken and toss it on salad. Add dressing and you're done.

Grill chicken breast or pan fry and place it on hamburger buns or kaiser rolls. You can serve with bbq sauce or ranch. Side of instant potatoes or chips and watermelon.

Take hot dogs and cook them, make Ramen noodles. Slice the hot dogs to make arms and legs, trim one end to make a face and then use the noodles to make hair.
Put a face on the head with ketchup.

Tater tot and sausage casserole, add a bag of tater tots, chop some sausage, add a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup and bake.

I got to one of those places where you make 12 meals and bring them all home for the month. Price is the same as the grocery bill and there isn't any shopping or clean up. You could probably split your order and get 24 meals out of it.

1 chicken breast (boneless/skinless) for each person
2 eggs
3 Tbs. flour
1 slice of provelone cheese per person
marinara sauce
italian bread crumbs

put the eggs on one plate, the flour on another, and the Italian bread crumbs on the other plate. dip each piece of chicken into the flour, then into the egg mixture (the two eggs should be lightly beaten together), then cover with Italian bread crumbs.

pan-fry the chicken (i prefer to use margerine in the pan).
once the chicken is cooked, place a piece of provelone cheese on top and let the heat of the chicken melt it. then pour a little marinara sauce over the top.

serve with your favoite potato and vegetable. its really easy.

baked macaroni and cheese

prepare macaroni per package directions adding a couple of pinches of salt to the boiling water.

sautee 3 Tbs of flour in 3 pats of butter in sauce pan until it bubbles. add 4 cups of whole milk, stir over medium heat until thickened. add a 4 cup package of shredded ceddar cheese and stir until melted. combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce in a buttered casserole dish and bake uncovered in a 400 degree oven until golden brown.

if you'd like, you can sprinkle a mixture of bread crumbs and a drizzle of olive oil on top before baking for a nice topping.

Enjoy
