What is the best way to cook chicken breast?
Answers:
I like to roast mine in the oven or stick them in the crock pot till they fall off the bone.
Grill!
I like BBQ... it's quick, easy and tasty...
I usually BBQ my chicken. I don't add the sauce until the chicken is almost ready to come off of the grill. The sauce tends to burn quickly and BBQ your chicken or meat with the sauce on it can cause the chicken to not cook fully.
Going to grill some chicken now.
I use grill mates chicken rub & 2 tablespoons butter. 5 drops of lemon juice on each breast.I always cook them in the oven. 450 for 45 min.
grill or BBQ
One of the best ways to cook chicken breast is to season it well (crushed pepper, green peppers, onions, and other seasons that you like) then wrap it in foil and broil at 325+ for about 45 mins to 1 hour. Yum!
Enjoy.
I love chicken breasts--probably would eat them every night if they were fixed in different ways. Personally, I'm not a big fan of barbecue sauce, so that wouldn't be my "best" way. I like them grilled. Also just breaded and fried. Breaded and baked is good too. I like them in casseroles--like fettucine or wild rice & mushroom. Also good as chicken parmagian (sp?). There's really no "bad" way to cook chicken breasts, although they have to be thoughly cooked for me. I like chicken tacos too. Chicken marsala is GREAT.
seriously, you'll love this!!!
take equal parts orange juice and zesty italian dressing, mix together with tbs(1)granulated garlic(fresh is better), 1 tbls lemon juice, throw in italian seasoning(a little)johnnys seasoning salt, little),and drop in chicken, skinned. marinate at least 12 hours, overnight, and bake................350ish,40 miutes, maybe
hhhhmmmm ssssssooooo ggggoooooddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is simple, tastey, and tender. lay breast in cake pan, salt and pepper to taste, and pour italian dressing over. Bake 350 for 45 mins-hour. Lordy they good.
Marinate the chicken in a sauce that is made up of:
Peanut Butter, Sweet BBQ sauce, Soy Sauce, Cilantro. You can play around with the amount of each ingredient depending on your taste buds. It is best if you let the chicken marinate in the sauce for at least 12 hours in the fridge
Sauteed Chicken Breasts in Natural Sauce
Makes 4
4 boned chicken breasts, skin left on
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
Garnish:
Chopped parsley
All you'll need are: Paper towels, a dinner plate, 8-inch skillet, tongs, wooden spoon.
Wash the chicken pieces under running water. Pate them extremely dry with paper towels. Set them on a plate, skin side up. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a medium-sized skillet (nonstick is OK) over highest heat. Add the olive oil (or butter) and let it get hot. Make sure the oil coats the entire bottom of the pan, even if it's nonstick.
With your hands, place the chicken breasts into the skillet, skin side down. (Wash the plate if you want to use it as a platter.) Keep the heat high until you can see and hear the chicken breasts cooking loud and fast. At that point, you may lower the heat to medium-high. (Every stove is different, and so is every pan, so pay attention to what's happening to the chicken breasts!)
Saute about 5 to 6 minutes, or until you see the meat whitening from the bottom halfway up the sides. Turn with tongs and saute the second side 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove the chicken breasts with tongs and arrange them on a serving plate.
Option 1: Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
Option 2: Pour the pan juices over the chicken, then sprinkle with parsley and serve.
