Whip together butter, garlic, and parsley. Filet the salmon put the mixure (after it has had a chnce to ferment-1hr) in the middle wrap completely in foil set on bar-b-q for 45mins(turning over periodically)-- whoops, sorry add a bit of salt and pepper into mixture. It is awsome and easy to do. Good Luck and enjoy!

Sprinkle seasonings over fish ending with paprika. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
Note: This recipe is wonderful used for boned and skinned chicken.
We love salmon and cook it all the time--various ways, but our favorite is to marinate them in teriyaki sauce and then grill outside--about 4 minutes each side, depending on thickness (watch them carefully since they cook quickly)
Smoked Salmon: Ha Ha

I usually just squeeze fresh lemon over them, sprinkle on some garlic powder and season salt, and bake them.
Option #2 is to dot them with butter and pat on some brown sugar and bake.
Both are simple and delicious!
I make mine in the oven. I use a glass baking pan. Put the fillets in the pan then pour milk into the pan untill just about even with the sides of the fillet. Then add butter and lemon to taste. Cook at 350 for about 20 min. or untill done. I love it that way becouse it is so moist and just melts in your mouth.

'romantic dinner ? with salmon fillets ? YUCK !!! you do know that after eating this you both with have bad breath so bad that you cant stand each other dont you? good gosh you'll knock down the nearest oak tree in the neighborhood. better fix something else thats easy and they will be more hungry at dinner time
I love a teriyaki sauce with a little extra honey added. Just preheat your oven to 350, Brush your fillets with the sauce then cook them for approximately 5 minutes. Switch to broil and cook another five minutes. Don't walk away or take a phone call while the broiler is on. After ten minutes total cooking time is up check with a fork that the fish is cooked through. It may need another minute or two. Dill and butter are also nice. Slightly sweet sauces seem to work well with salmon so a little apricot jam thinned would work well with the dill and butter. Garlic and lemon also work well with the above flavors. Let your own tastes guide you. All of these would go well with roasted new potatoes . Boil tiny potatoes till just tender, lightly oil them with a good vegetable oil ( butter will burn if used alone) though you may add some for flavor rub with minced garlic and some salt and pepper. You can dress them up with some dijon mustard and/or rosemary. bake for about 20 minutes or run them under the broiler turning them once after a couple of minutes. The potatoes take over an hour to bake from raw in the oven so the par cooking by boiling saves time and energy. Add a salad and a killer dessert and you are there.
From my recipe book.
Salmon Fillets.
Lightly salt fillet. Place a knob of butter on a medium high heat, ribbed or smooth fry pan, and when it stops sizzling add fillet skin side down.
As it cooks you will see it changing colour and when it is about 1/3 cooked, carefully turn.
Cook until a further 1/3 is cooked and remove to a warmed plate and cover with foil.
Add some more butter and some fresh herbs:-
Fennel: for an aniseed taste.
Mint.
Parsley.
Let cook for a few minutes and remove from heat. The cast iron will keep it warm .
