Good barbeque chicken SEASONING recipe?
Does anyone know of any good seasoning recipe's for barbeque chicken (whole)?

Sorry Im not quite sure if you just want a BBQ chicken recipe or the rub that goes on it before cooking, I hope these help
SEASONED BARBECUE CHICKEN
1 chicken, cut in half lengthwise
1 c. sauterne wine
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. onion juice
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Make marinade of all ingredients except chicken. Marinate chicken pieces 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Place chicken on outdoor grill. Cook approximately 1 hour or until done, turning and brushing with sauce every 10 to 15 minutes. Serves 2 to 4.
DRY SPICY BARBECUE RUB
Dry Rub Mix:
ground cumin
paprika
garlic powder
onion powder
chili powder
kosher salt
cayenne pepper
black pepper
white pepper
brown sugar
In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup each of cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt and ground pepper. Add 1/2 cup dark brown sugar.
Mix all ingredients together well.
Pour into a clean dry mason jar and store tightly sealed until ready to use.
To Use:
Pour out the amount required.
Rub and press the mix over the meat. Wrap meat in foil and store in refrigerator overnight.
This rub is great as-is for Pork. For Chicken or Beef you may add 1 tsp. crushed red pepper for an extra kick.
Spicy Seasoning Blend
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. savory, crushed
1 tbsp. powdered mustard
2 1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. ground white pepper
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients; store in an airtight container

All-Purpose Seasoning Blend
INGREDIENTS:
1 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled
1 teaspoon ground mace
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon dried leaf thyme, crumbled
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon leaf oregano, crumbled
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon savory
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients; store in an airtight container
McCormick has a really good seasoning for chicken to do on the grill....
Montreal Chicken
I put it on and let it sit for a while before cooking.
Another good idea is to put it on the chicken before you put it in the freezer, then when you defrost it automatically marinades.
Emerils Essence.... it is a little spicy....
Essence (Emeril's Creole Seasoning):
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight jar or container.
Yield: about 2/3 cup
