How to make a delicious sandwich?
Answers:
Use a good, fresh bread. I like to use homemade herb bread or honey whole wheat. Or I buy a loaf of Italian for a more delicate filling, or a multigrain from the local farmers' market for heartier filling.
Spread your condiments to the edge of the bread.
Use good quality fillings. I prefer to use sliced baked ham, roast beef, roast turkey, etc., rather than sandwich meat. Fresh, ripe tomatoes, crisp lettuces, sweet onions (NOT cooking onions). Real cheese, not processed cheese or cheese food.
Don't try to just add as much as possible to the sandwich. Be concerned about the compatibility and balance of flavors.

Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are delicious if you add a little bacon to them.
Cook your bacon.
Slightly grill your ham until is gets warm
Place two slices of cheese on the sandwich with the grilled ham and bacon in the middle.
Coat the skillet with butter and place the sandwich in it then flip it over placing more butter in the skilled so that both sides of the sandwich will be evenly coated.
Continue flipping until the cheese melts
Your sandwich is complete and delicious.
My fav toasted sandwich consists of three ingredients plus bread:
tuna
cheese
avacado
You can make any sandwich really special by adding a gourmet cheese - like smoked, or an expensive cheddar.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches
INGREDIENTS
* 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
* 3 pounds boneless pork ribs
* 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
DIRECTIONS
1. Pour can of beef broth into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily. Remove meat, and shred with two forks. It will seem that it's not working right away, but it will.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
Baget, proscuitto, sliced ripe pears, brie, basil leaves, raspberry vinegrete. So many textures, so many flavors, your mouth will be overjoyed. I had this sandwich over 20 years ago in San Francisco and have not forgotten it.
Club Sandwiches
Take four slices of bread and spread them with butter or margarine.
On the first slice place ham and some mustard. (Optional)
Place the second slice of bread on top of Ham, and cover with mashed egg, seasoned with S&P.
Place the third slice of bread on top of egg, and cover with de seeded tomato, seasoned with S&P
Top with forth slice of bread, spread side down.
Cut crusts fro the sides and cut into fingers.
If possible get a loaf of caterers sliced bread.
It is cut lengthways, instead of across, so you can make several at a time.
