What is the best way?!

Question:

What is the best way?

please could someone tell me the best way to grill a whole chicken

Answers:
On a BBQ grill? A rotisserie if you have one. Otherwise, I'd recommend having it split lengthwise by the butcher or splitting it yourself with a big knife.

Brine the chicken. Trust me, look it up on Y!A or on the web. This will infuse the chicken with water and any flavors you want to add to the brine. You could brine it overnight in a light brine, or for 4-6 hours the day of cooking. Brining will keep the chicken nice and juicy.

Pat chicken dry, rub down with some oil like a light olive oil.

Cook low and slow, and if you don't have the rotisserie, flip the bird every 20 minutes or so, and keep the lid closed on the grill otherwise.

Don't baste with any sauces that have sugar/honey until the last 20 minutes or so, or the sugar will burn before the chicken gets cooked.

Use a meat thermometer to make sure the chicken is cooked.

you want to grill an ENTIRE chicken?
well, you want to cut it up into pieces, otherwise you could be grilling for days. ;)
p.s.
pieces with bones will always take longer to cook, so keep that in mind.

The best way to grill a whole chicken is to makesure you rub a typepf oil all over it like olive oil or veggie oil. Then you put on your grill. Some time during cooking rub a nice rub on it.Like lemon and pepper.

Don't even try, it will not cook evenly.
Segment it first so you can take the pieces which will cook fastest out first.

Place in an oven bag and bake.
