Egg Salad Recipe?!

Question:

Egg Salad Recipe?

After 4 years I was informed that my boyfriend does not like the egg salad that I make. Can someone please give me an old fashioned recipe. His mom doesn't have a defined recipe, she just puts a little of this and that and everyone eats it. And I am really craving some egg salad. Please no jalepenos or anything crazy in the recipe please. Thanks in advance for your help!

I used to work at a sandwich shop and we made our like this:
Eggs chopped
Mayo (enough so it is not dry, but not too much to make it runny)
Mustard (just a couple of squirts)
Salt and Pepper to taste
and sugar is the key ingredient, add a tsp. at a time and use your better judgement when it has enough.

Enjoy!

I make mine with eggs, mayo, a little mustard, celery and a little chopped pickle, I also add a little salt and pepper and that's it.

Egg Salad

Hard boiled eggs, cut up
Pickle relish or diced pickles
mustard
mayonnaise
salt and pepper

This is what my mom always made and to this day it's the way I make it, never had a complaint. As to amounts you need to taste it and you'll know what you need more of. Good luck :)

For mine i do not add anything but mayo and mustard i dont like it to be crunchy, but my aunt adds relish and celery!! it is ok but i like plane and i season to taste!!

Boil six eggs, peel and slice/ dice them. Mash them up a bit with a potatoe masher. In a bowl mix eggs, 2 tbs of mayo, a little salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the refridgerator for a couple of hours and presto, Egg Salad.

This is just a plain jane kinda recipe. Some people add things such as pickles, onions, kyanne pepper, etc. See what he likes and dislikes and then add what he wants! :)
GOOD LUCK! Hope this helped.

chop 8 hard-cooked eggs, add 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons chopped celery, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard. if desired a dash of hot pepper sauce.

egg, mayo, celery salt , a little relish and some deviled ham........

8 eggs
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared Dijon-style mustard
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 red onion, minced
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil; cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel and chop. In a large bowl, combine the egg, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, paprika, onion and salt and pepper. Mash well with a fork or wooden spoon. Serve on bread as a sandwich or over crisp lettuce as a salad.

Tell the slacker, if he does not like the way you make it, that he is welcome to make it himself. Or at the very least offer a suggestion.
I use garlic salt, and fresh ground peppercorn in mine with, mayo, mustard, and a 1/2 tbl spoon of horseradish.

Simple egg salad:

hard boiled eggs, peeled, of course
mayonnaise
salt
pepper
deli style brown mustard

Cut up eggs into small pieces - i use an egg slicer then cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Mix with mayo - about a teaspoons worth for each egg (more or less depending on taste) a dash of salt and a dash of pepper, a bout a teaspoons woths of the mustard and mix. I like it served on pita bread with a little lettuce.
