Can you use pudding in marble cake and how?!

Question:

Can you use pudding in marble cake and how?

Could you use already made pudding, like the pudding cups and how much? Also do you omit anything from box recipe when using pudding or just add pudding to recipe?

Answers:
I have dropped in already made pudding into my cake mix when I am combining all the ingredients.

Most of the time a marble cake is a combo of two cake mixes with the white cake being dropped into the chocolate portion then swirling it around with a knife.

If the pudding is chocolate then mix it with the chocolate portion or vice versa......

I do not omit anything else when I drop the pudding in.

most pudding in the cakes are dry pudding mix not already made pudding.

You wouldn't be able to include it in the marbling affect, but you could use pudding between the layers. Use the real stuff though.. not instant. Once it's thickened, spread it between your cake layers... LOVE pudding as the in-between filling.

Yes, regulaer plain pudding, you stir that into the cake mix, and it makes the cake silky smooth.

YOU CAN USE ANY PUDDING YOU LIKE..I LIKE TO USE A PIPING BACK FOR ICING, IT MAKES IT EASIER TO USE AND HANDLE..SOMETIME THE ALREADY MIXED ONES LIKE IN THOSE CUP R BEST B/C THEIR THICKER AND RICH.

if you are adding it to the mix to make it moist, just add 1 box instant pudding mix (any flavor u want) & use 4 eggs instead of 3.all other ingredients listed on the box stay the same. i make all my cakes like this. super moist & delicious.
