Question:

How come hot dogs come in packages of 10 but rolls come in packages of 8?

How come hot dogs come in packages of 10 but rolls come in packages of 8? Are they only doing this b/c they want u to buy two packages of rolls or is there a scientific explanation for this?

Answers:
You don't have to fall for their gimmicks. One of the best hot dogs I ever had was a double decker. It had three toasted slices of white bread. Between 2 of the slices, there were 2 franks, each sliced in half lengthwise. In the other deck was a hot link also sliced lengthwise. Put a generous amount of BBQ sauce in it and you've got a great "hot dog".

Good question.I smell a conspiracy.Or is that hot dogs on the BBQ.

Just another thread in the tapestry of life.

Check around - The ones I buy (Beef Masters) come 8 to a pack. :)

because we eat the spare 2, while making a hot dog

I'm sure it's just a marketing ploy to get the consumer to purchase 2 packages rather than just 1, but how FRUSTRATING!!! It never fails that when my hubby goes to the store for me to pick up hotdogs & buns (rare, but usually happens a couple of times a year), I forget to remind him that we need 2 packages of buns! :(

In the past I've usually ended up throwing away the extra buns, but now I've decided that they are really good made up into french toast! :)

Because those round little hot dogs are always rolling off the dang grill!

I have at least one casualty per cookout. Perhaps I should go with the non-alcoholic beer from now on. He he.

so that you will have to buy 8 packages of hot dogs and 10 packages of buns to make them come out even.
