How are tacos good for you?!

Question:

How are tacos good for you?

Answers:
By supplying your body with nutrients..

I really don't think Tacos are good for you. I think the fat in the meat and the taco shell out weigh the goodness in the veggies. But they are oh so yummy.

The meat is protein, the tortilla is flour (grains), the cheese is dairy, and the salsa has your veggies. De'lish!

the meat provides proteins and if you add extra stuff like lettuce and cheese on it the taco, it adds more essential nutrients.

if you leave the ground beef, taco shell, and cheese off ? hmmm yeah I believe that the lettuce and tomatoes are good for you......LOL

taco meat= Meats
Taco Shell= Grains
Tomatoes and lettuce= veggies and fruits
Cheese= Dairy

(with the exception of the fatty fats) xD

depending on how you prepare them, the shell is a grain, usually you have a protein to fill it with which is good for you, The fillings include lettuce, tomatoes, onions, which are good and if you have cheese or sour cream in small amounts are good too, BON APETITE'

Usually the filling (read: meat) is a good source of protein. If you like your taco with all the fixin's, lettuce (the greener the better) is a good source of iron, tomatoes are a good source of vitamin A and the antioxidant lycopene. Sour cream and cheese are good sources of calcium and protein. The capsacin in hot sauce acts as an appitite suppressant. Finally, the corn in corn tortillas is a good source of fiber. Where tacos are not good for you is in the high amount of fat typically found in them. Most of this fat is usually found in the meat, sour cream and cheese. Alleviate this by using chicken, beans or even lean beef and consider leaving off the cheese and sour cream or using low fat versions..

they give you joy.

they aren't

relatively low in carbs, good quality protein source, and fiber from the lettuce, and tomatoes. i'm a huge taco fan.

you didn't say soft or hard shell the flour tortillas are better for you then the corn and it depends what you put in it so i guess i'm saying yes and no
