Which ingredient should I use to sautee my artichokes?!

Question:

Which ingredient should I use to sautee my artichokes?

I have extra virgin olive oil, stir fry garlic oil, and butter. Which one of these should I use to sautee my artichokes?

Answers:
EVOO. Add a little garlic towards the end and a pinch of salt. Besides this being a traditional Italian preparation, the butter will burn and the stir-fry oil should be saved for the wok. Good luck!

lots and lots and lots of oil

EVOO.

I'd go with the stir fry garlic oil.

I vote for the stir fry garlic flavored oil to infuse the dish with the flavor of garlic. You could also add a little butter to round of the flavor. (provided it is really butter and not margarine)

A trashcan would work best for me. Ewww!

EVOO, it's MUCH healthier! You can always add a tad bit of garlic if you want that flavor added in.

Artichokes have a very delicate flavor....It is best to go with olive oil, so that the garlic will not overpower it. Butter will give it a less delicate flavor and make it taste more fried than gently cooked. Olive oil is the way to go, with seasonings added later.

i am with the trashcan response hahahaha...Last time i ate an artichoke, I vomited and shi tted at the same time, and I got food poisoning. It just fu cked up my experience with artichoke....EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...
