Question:

Do you think its good idea to put folic acid in white and brown bread?

Answers:
I am against mass medication by anybody. Some things don't suit everybody and can kill in some cases. I know our government is devious but to kill its own is a crime.

Obviously you have never taken a class in basic nutrition.

The reason that some trace minerals are added to bread is that is the easiest, cheapest and quickest place to add them... and it's required by law.

Riboflavin, Niacin, Iron and Folic Acid are some of those additions that are NECESSARY for GOOD HEALTH and trace minerals YOU CAN'T GET NATURALLY.... you can only get them in bread..

NOW... if you really WANT ulcerations in your mouth or weak eye muscles or breathing problems... then bake your own bread... and you can have some of the same vitamine and mineral defficiencies people in the third world have... otherwise... buy the factory made stuff and STAY HEALTHY

Nope

Yes. I think it's an easy way to make sure everyone gets the folic acid they need. If you don't want to eat it, I'm sure there will still be some brands without it.

Most all purpose flour you can buy is already fortified with lots of vitamins and minerals. I think you should not try adding that sort of thing to your bread in case you over dose it. Check to see what is already added to the flour.
