Pie crust question?!

Question:

Pie crust question?

Would you use the same pie crust recipe for a dessert and a meat pie?

I'm going to attempt making a scotch pie (ground beef filling).

Do I use the same pie crust as I would a pecan pie?

Answers:
Yes, you do. You can add spices and herbs to the crust to give it a complementary flavor for the scotch pie, too. Sometimes I mix cinnamon and nutmeg into my pumpkin pie crust, or garlic powder and dried parsley into my pot pie crust.

Yes. the same as an apple pie-don't make pecan pies.

You can but, leave out any sugar, if it's call for in the pecan pie recipe.

You sure can!!

Are you making it from scratch? Yes you can use the same crust.
