you can but you'dd end up with veggies that taste like chicken, beef that taste like veggies and chicken that taste like beef...try putting the veggies in first...taker them out then the chicken...take it out...then the beef...the cook them on a stovetop for a few minute..this way the flavours dont get mixed up. i hope i've helped you =D
Yes, that is fine. You'll be cooking them.
yes it is if you are going to cook all of it!!
yep done it many times. depending on the beef you may want to brown it just a touch to cook off the fat before you put it in. sounds good though
Great combos are beef and pork and pork and chicken--I have never tried beef and chicken but it would probably be like the pork. I used to have a 40's cook book and it had awesome recipes for meat combos.
You go guy good cooking takes the guts to do it. No expert just an old cook.
I do it all the time, but if the veggies are raw cook the meat all day on low and then about 30-45 minutes before eating add the vegetables. or you will have mushy vegetables. If you add them later they cook just right. cook the meal for about 10 + depending on cooker and then add the vegetables 30-45 minutes after that. I do it all the time. You could cook it for 1/2 that if you put the cooker on high, but to me it never tastes the same.
of course it is. that's how you use a slow cooker... put in the raw ingredients & let it cook 6-12 hours, depending on the recipe...
yes it is ok, they will be cooking its fine.
