Answers:
I will suggest one of my favorite aphrodisiac pasta recipes: Linguine with Shrimp and Pine Nuts

Ingredients:

1lb (450g) linguine
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, halved
1 cup chopped tomatoes
? lb (225g) peeled, deveined shrimp
? cup torn basil leaves
? cup pomegranate seeds
? cup toasted pine nuts
salt, pepper to taste

Heat oil in a large pan on medium heat. Add garlic cloves and toss until they turn golden. Add tomatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, or until they lose their raw flavor. If you are using canned tomatoes, cook till they start to fall apart. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Meanwhile, cook the linguine until "AL dente" according to the label recommendations, and while the pasta is cooking, toss peeled shrimp into the tomato sauce and cook for about 5 minutes. As soon as shrimp turn pink, add the torn basil leaves and remove the pan from the heat, keeping in mind that the seafood will cook in the residual heat.

Drain pasta and toss with the sauce. I prefer a small amount of sauce, enough only to coat the pasta strands. However, feel free to adjust the quantity to your own preferences.

Before serving, sprinkle pomegranate and pine nuts over the pasta. If desired add grated Parmesan.

Buon apetite....!!!

His favorite meal-

it shows you know him...

we as guys are normally not that finiky- but if you show him that you know what he likes etc, then that is a great meal. We don't have to have candles and romance...just love and support.

Shrimp with mango salsa. Im making that for my mom tonight, its her birthday. But if you can think of a meal you have always wanted to make but didnt know how, check out this site. click on the recipe tab and type it in to the search. Or you can use the search engine to find recipes from certain cuisines or cooking styles, or ingredients. You know your husband better then I do

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction
INGREDIENTS

* 3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
* salt and pepper to taste
* 4 lamb chops (3/4 inch thick)
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1/4 cup minced shallots
* 1/3 cup aged balsamic vinegar
* 3/4 cup chicken broth
* 1 tablespoon butter

DIRECTIONS

1. In a small bowl or cup, mix together the rosemary, basil, thyme, salt and pepper. Rub this mixture onto the lamb chops on both sides. Place them on a plate, cover and set aside for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place lamb chops in the skillet, and cook for about 3 1/2 minutes per side for medium rare, or continue to cook to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet, and keep warm on a serving platter.
3. Add shallots to the skillet, and cook for a few minutes, just until browned. Stir in vinegar, scraping any bits of lamb from the bottom of the skillet, then stir in the chicken broth. Continue to cook and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has reduced by half. If you don't, the sauce will be runny and not good. Remove from heat, and stir in the butter. Pour over the lamb chops, and serve.

Steak and potatoes and a vegetable, and a 6 pack of his favorite beer.

Make him his favorite foods. Don't forget dessert. Then treat him to DESSERT!!! Thats the way to a man's heart.

Here are a few simple ideas, depending on his style:
I would assume he likes steak, since he is a man. lol.

Tequila & lemonade on the rocks
Chips & homemade salsa
Ribeyes with salsa and a wedge of fresh lime
Refried beans
Spanish rice
lettuce, avocado, tomato & onion chopped salad

OR

Ribeyes
Mashed potatoes with sour cream and spinach mixed in, then baked with cheddar cheese on top.
Fresh sliced tomatoes with salt on top.
Fresh corn

My guy is always happy with a steak, baked potato and corn on the cob with angel cake and strawberries for dessert .

Pick something he loves and that you don't make often. Make sure you make the dinner romantic (even if it is his favorite hotdog). Set the table, have candle light, play soft music. On his plate lay a card that says just how you feel!

I have one recipe that my husband loves and I only make it a couple of times a year. It is very time consuming and he always knows how much work goes into it.
