Question:

Can I use a 4 qt stainless (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 ) to make an angel food cake?

It's a 16 oz package. I don't have the proper pan. I am going to try it anyways, but I am a widowed male, and need all the cooking help I can get. (there are no plastic handles on the pan anymore). No college kids please. I know what a sense of humor they can have. Oh hell, go ahead, I can handle it. Thanks a lot guys.

I think it should work. The cake will just be a different shape. Although you might have to modify the cooking time from what the box says. And make sure you grease it.

if you don't have a bunt pan you may try a metal rectangle pan.

you really should go to the dollar store or K mart's and buy the right pan, I'm afraid if you use the pan you have you will end up with a mess.
