How do they make cheerios round?!

Question:

How do they make cheerios round?

Answers:
They are formed in an extruder and then shot out of the round die which puffs them up a bit. Quite a noisy process. I worked at a cereal plant.

They use an extruder.

Reminds me of Anya commenting on the fine woven handcraftsmanship of Chex. Awesome.

They are extruded under preasure like pasta, Watsits, Shreaded wheet, hoola hoops etc

An extruding machine
You need to watch more TV
Just like donuts
Go visit you 'Crispy Creams' and watch the production line.
I did that back in 1948 at the local grocery (pre supermarket)

I've always wondered the same thing.

The same way they put holes in doughnuts - disgusting.

They are extruded through a metal die and then baked.
