squish into a pan, pot bowl .. ??
350 for 45m check,, another 20,, OK ,,check,, is it brown ?another 10 ???
You could drain the fat but
let it absorb back into "your" gourmet loaf.

I can't believe no one mentioned Oatmeal.
When we were young only the two ends went to bread crumbs
That was for turkey stuffing.

1 pkg hamburger
1 pan slightly larger than the pkg

Slap hamburger into pan, bake until done.

You asked for easy!!!

2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
splash of milk
palm-full of bread crumbs
1/2 diced green bell pepper
1/2 medium onion diced

Combine all of the above and shape your loaf.

1/2 cup BBQ sauce
6 or 7 strips of bacon
Brown sugar

Slather the loaf with the BBQ sauce and then place the bacon strips lengthwise to cover the whole top of the loaf. Sprinkle with brown sugar (minimal amount) and bake as you would any meatloaf. You can also sprinkle the finished meat loaf with Frenches fried onions and chopped parsley if you want to jazz it up and make it look nice.
