My secret (LOL) recipe for scrumptious brownies. I made this great recipe when I needed a lot of brownies and I had 2 boxes but not the same type or maker. So I went for it. Now my family and friends request these all the time. Serves at least 36-40 pieces. Semi Secret at the end of recipe!

Curiosity Kat's Triffic Brownies.
1 Box of Duncan Hines Chocolate Lovers Brownie Mix (Milk Chocolate) (My grandkids prefers milk chocolate to the dark)
1 Box Betty Crocker Brownie Mix with the Heshey Syrup packet.

Open both mixes, put dry into large mixing bowl. Stir to mix the dry ingredients. Then add the wet ingredients for the Betty Crocker Mix, Then add the suggested ingredients for the cake like brownie version.

Mix this together but don't stir too long. Just until blended, about 40 strokes. Pour into greased on bottom large pan at least 9x13 but a 10x14 works better. One could use 2 8x8's, or a 9x13 and an 8x8.

Bake according to package directions. In my oven, I bake about 25 min. then test it.

To Test, place a toothpick or cake tester into the brownie about 1 inch from the edge. If the tester comes out clean it is done. Remove and put on rack to cool.

Now the middle will look not done, but don't worry, the Brownie's are hot and will finish cooking while it is cooling. PERFECTION! Really. Add milk chocolate Duncan Hines Icing if you want them iced. It is good but really rich.

Semi secret to cutting brownies:
When Brownies are completely cool, you may need to take a sharp knife around the edge carefully to loosen the brownies from the side of the pans. Do this first before you cut them. Always use a plastic knife, a sturdy one, like the ones that come with take home food at Bob Evans, or the nice heavy ones when you buy "the good" plastic tableware for a picnic. Brownies cut so easy with plastic knives and nice and even.

very simple---3 tsp cocoa
